Dr. Pamela Solly
Dr. Solly received an Associate Degree in Optometric/Ophthalmic Technologies along with a Registered Optometric Technician certification from Owen Community College in Perrysburg, Ohio. She obtained a position at The Kellogg Eye Center at The University of Michigan and earned the Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist certification. Working in the university setting, it became apparent she wanted to continue her education and become an optometrist. In 2002, she was accepted into The Ohio State University College of Optometry and graduated in 2006 with her optometry degree and eighteen years of priceless life experiences and treatment pearls from every aspect of eye care.
She moved to Bastrop, Texas in 2006 and was fortunate to work with outstanding ophthalmologists and optometrists. Dr Solly decided to open her own practice, Texas State Optical Bastrop in May, 2011.
In September 2015, Dr. Solly "unchained" herself from TSO and renamed her practice Bastrop Family Eye Care. At the same time, she opened a new office, La Grange Eye Care to better serve her patients.
She takes the time to listen to the patient’s needs and is able to offer personalized recommendations for each patient.
